Re: EVO UNREVOKED 3 working w/froyo 2.2 and OMJ's ROM

I took a stock phone with out froyo (OTA) installed, rooted it with unrevoked 3 and then was able to install OMJ's ROM with out having any problems on mine and a friends phone. I have tested everything and it works GREAT. also you keep PRI VERSION 1.40_003.

Can you layout your method step by step.
Also, what issues do you have using the unrevoked3 method?

I'm asking because I thought you had to be fully rooted to use OMJ roms, which would change your PRI to 1.34.

Have you noticed any speed slow downs using unrevoked3?

Smile Re: EVO UNREVOKED 3 working w/froyo 2.2 and OMJ's ROM

1) start off with 1.47.651.1 base installed, PRI ver 1.40_003, PRL ver 60668.
2) root using evo unrevoked 3.1
3) install OMJ_EVO_2.2_Froyo_v2.2
and that's it..everything works right out of the box.

If I remember correctly, the way to "unroot" the original unrevoked method was to uninstall the app, as it performed the root exploit on startup.
