With as much as you have complained about this issue from this thread to CM's thread, I think its time you just go get a new phone, or at least try.
I'm trying to do just that. Sprint emailed me and told me they created a ticket for my issue and I have to take it down to the nearest Sprint store that has a tech on site. So we will see what happens.

I've really done my best to narrow the issue down and I don't want to exchange my phone simply because other than this issue its in perfect condition.

I feel you. I feel lucky because with all of the issues that have been reported, I seem to have none of them and would have to trade in my phone because it is absolutely perfect, though sometimes I wish I had an Epson screen. Anyhow, good luck with the exchange, Like I said, the Sprint techs I have worked with have always been very understanding.

Yeah I am always unlucky when it comes to these type of things though. I'll probably get one with light leakage who knows! Crossin my fingers..

I had that problem also and it would happen on a cheap cord and the one that came with the phone eventually..I know I have hardware 003 but I havent checked the screen type yet.

Its so nice being able to run CM6 and other froyo roms without this issue!! I was beginning to hate my phone because it always happened and now I love it again.
