It boots, checks the PC36IMG and just lets me select an option.... no update question

One thing I am seeing since I can't update... Before when I was able to update it load the bard on left and quickly ask, now after loading the bar it stays a while saying "Checking PC36IMG" and just puts me onto the bootloader menu with no questons asked...

EDIT: I tried to mix and match some of the files with various that I have downloaded hoping that it would trigger an update but no luck...

I took my phone to the sprint store and they were able to fix it so THANK THANK YOUO to all who tried to help now I do have one question... They updated the radio to 2.05.00.06.10 but the firmwire is still 2.1 What root method should I use?
