I actually had a PC36IMG file in the root directory of my SD card when I did the 3-click root, and flashed Damage Control 3.2.3, and don't seem to have suffered any ill effects. Not sure why. Or could that be why my Baseband is at 1.36.00.04.02?

Re: Help: EVO Radio Downgrade mistake

I left it booting for a while to see if it just needed a real long time and after a couple of minutes it just reboots into splash screens and keeps on reseting. This is a reall headache I dont mind if I would have to go back to official rom as long as it makes this work

Re: Help: EVO Radio Downgrade mistake

To get into recovery, have you tried installing Rom Manager, flash his recovery from the menu in the program, or flash the optional recovery in his program? Sorry, don't remember the name of the actual recoveries.

Re: Help: EVO Radio Downgrade mistake

The issue is - my phone does not boot, it remains in the splash screen and it restarts over and over again. The in the bootload menu I am not given an option to update so its like I am stuck there until I guess there are a set of patched files I can put on the SD to maybe force phone to update? because the official HTC updates appear to install until they get to the signature part then it says it has an error...

Re: Help: EVO Radio Downgrade mistake

So you can't boot into the OS or recovery?!?!?!?!?!?! If that's the case than you need to flash the stock rom from the RUU....then try the simple method again! If you can gget into bootloader (which you should be able to) hit "FASTBOOT" and connect it to you computer with the micro usb.........the "FASTBOOT" should turn to "FASTBOOT USB", then try to flash the stock roms RUU!

Let me know if it goes well!

Re: Help: EVO Radio Downgrade mistake

I went and tried this, connected sd card to Computer with adapter and transfered stock rom rooted and renamed it to sdcard.zip

booted Evo to bootloader and chose recovery.
I as usual got the black background with EVO Icon and red triangle with exclamation mark.
There I click on hold Volume Up and Power until I get the following error:

E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

Then I click volume up and the following title and menu appear:

Android system recovery <2e>

reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

When I choose the sdcard:update option the following message is displayed

----Install from Sdcard ------
Finding Update package
Opening update package
verifying update package
E:signature verification failed
instalation aborted

Any ideas?
