It should unroot you if you only did the unrevoked. I think it is just a program that runs every time you boot and not something in the system files like the full root method. I haven't really kept up with unrevoked since the first release. Shortly after that, I did the toast method for root and NAND. So I could be wrong.

i wondered this too..but i think you can if you wipe using the recovery tool, (or Rom manager) you might be able to keep root...(just a theory, but it could work)...

It says in most ROM threads directly in the beginning that full root is required, UnRevoked's method is not a method of full root. Even some programs tell you that you do not have root access when using UnRevoked...
Give it a shot its not like this is something that took you hours to accomplish and you are throwing it away...I can't see a simple reset taking away your superuser privileges, but I can see files getting erased that are stored on the device. Not the SD!!! |
