It's worth doing for those that use unrevoked, nut for those of use that are dully rooted I don't think it is. It will bring way more stability for our chefs though!

Here's my question: if this unroots you why don't you just reroot? No biggie, right?

For once Sprint got their act together? Well, I'm glad I was wrong about seeing 2.2 so soon. Don't think anybody expected it to be ready starting 8/2.
Please don't let this be some sick joke. |

I just wonder how long it will take for a rooted version. I'm not making the same mistake twice I will wait this time.

What if Sprint decides to block the root again, just like how they did on the latest OTA? Now another person will have to find a way to root it again. If you are Rooted, do NOT accept the OTA. Just wait for a chef to have a rooted version out. But people don't listen, I bet many of you will accept it just cause its froyo.

It was like with the sprint hero. When the 2.1 upgrade came out, it wasn't until after the evo was rooted that the 2.1 upgrade for the hero was rooted. Then, sprint released a "fix" that broke that root exploit. Eventually, the 2.2 upgrade will get rooted, but this could take months.
