I'd unroot, I wouldn't chance it. What if they want to swap you out for a new device right then and there?

what is the warranty on the evo? because i have the very first defective batch(light leakage, my loacation not working,speaker sound busted, ect hardware 002) its not that big of a deal to me right now but as long as it is in the warranty phase could i take it back??????

If your still in the 30 day warranty you might want to unroot. A prick could say its been tampered with. If its out of 30 days who cares what are they going to do? The Sprint store I went to the guy knew all about rooting. I asked him not to do the OTA and he said why are you planing to root. I said ya he said well they have a fix for it now any way. I said ya I know its just a little easier without the OTA. So they are not all as stupid as people here would like you to believe. They can easily tell if your phone is rooted by putting the phone in HBoot.
