i am so glad i found this thread...i have been flashing roms and doing restores all night because of this lol. i guess we all just have to wait until facebook can get things up again. thanks guys

me too, I thought it was a custom rom problem so I flashed 4 different ROMs, went back to stock, then found this thread....DOH

Yes I have the problem as well. I didn't have this issue with OMJ's 1.6 rom but it now exists in 1.8. I downloaded Syncbook from the market and it fixed it I guess for the short term.

ya man i was so pissed off last night. one of my buddies called me and his picture didn't show up, instead it was the little droid robot on the screen so i was like WTF. i go to the contact and look at the link...facebook link was mysteriously GONE. and because of that i tried resyncing google contacts but there was no point because all this **** is down.
