Youmail does all that also and besides VVM is all I need so all that other google voice crap is of no use to me. Besides Google tracks enough of my info as it is now

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to forward your unanswered calls to YouMail? Don't that end up costing you money?

No Sprint doesn't charge you to forward to youmail. When you are selecting the EVO 4G as your phone during the setup at youmail.com it tells you that its free to forward to youmail. They have some kind of agreement.

Its not on my bill either.

Yup Sprint started offering free conditional call forwarding back in November.

The RC2 came out yesterday. The link in the very first post will take you to the new test rom.

Re: Cyanogen Roms = Froyo -Mostly Everything Working!!!

I just found this thread and read the first post that overclocking will destroy my battery. I was using the overclock widget for battery life and overclocked my processor. I just installed it yesterday and after reading the first post I uninstalled it. Did I do any damage to my battery?

I've been using the OC widget (SetCPU) for a couple of months now. No issues. Battery life is as good, possibly better than stock. When the phone is in standby, I don't allow the processor to go about 500 mhz, which helps preserve the battery. Also, while every phone is different, I cannot OC above 1.19 mhz, or I go into a boot loop.

Re: Cyanogen Roms = Froyo -Mostly Everything Working!!!

I have CM6 working on my EVO. Visual Voicemail works fine. I'm happy with everything except 4G - which I can live without for the time being.
