Any idea when Sprint will have EVO's in stock?
 

Has anyone got a reliable update of when Sprint will start stocking the EVO again. They keep advertising it on TV but if you go to their web page you can't order it. Many retail stores have been getting them in periodically so you just have to call around and get lucky. But you can't expect them to pull the commercials just because they are out of stock. Advertising does not work like that.

It's very very random... I jumped on Sprint's site at 2am July 1st... It said it was available, I did my upgrade (That I'd been waiting for) and got it ordered. It was there the very next afternoon (July 2nd). But I haven't seen it available since - I check just for fun now.

I just called and ordered a second one through EVP last week and it was delivered this past Thursday. EVP stated they had plenty of them.

I called *2 a couple hours ago and she said they had them back in stock. I'm trying to find one at BB so I don't have to wait for the rebate though.

I just got my EVO from Bestbuy on friday. the retail stores have them, and if you call them (assuming that they have it in stock), they will hold it for you.

the good thing about bestbuy that i can confirm was that I got my evo 199.99 + tax, NO ACTIVATION FEE (SOME STORES CHARGE THIS BEWARE $18-36), and the lady hooked it up with 20% off accessories.

Just call some local bestbuys, radioshacks, and maybe the sprint stores too. Someone is bound to have it!

As others have said, they are trickling in slowly. I tried to get one Saturday, and my local Sprint store had 1, but it was gone when I got there. The Sprint store did not have a waiting list, and neither did my local BB. Luckily The Shack had a wait list, so I jumped on that, but there are 5 people ahead of me. I also talked to *2 and they said the stores are getting them before they come to the warehouse (where telesales ships them from), so she recommended I try B&M, which I did. From what BB and The Shack would tell me, they get a few in every several days. Yeah, just a few, like 2 or 3. Might be a long wait...

'tis true, everything I've read says the samsung parts are out of stock. The new fab plant apparently isn't going to be up and running until 2012.

I did the mail-in-rebate, yes, fine, let the taunting begin. However, I have a perfectly good (knocking a freakin' elm tree) device.

If you read Sprint's website you'll notice that the HTC Evo 4G is the only phone still with a rebate....everything else on the website is web specials...which is no rebate at all. Not sure if that will change once the Evo is back in stock with Sprint.

HTC dropped the ball this time...atleast with Sprints help. It always seems these company's low ball the estimated amount of phones they think they are going to sell...seems the Iphone kept up for atleast 3 days...why couldn't HTC and Sprint? I hope they have some come in towards August...thats when my upgrade is.

I had every sprint store in my area on lock down makin regular calls to all of them every other day or so.I continued to make my daily calls for three more weeks wile sitting on several waiting list and I finaly got my EVO like 3 days ago.All I have to say is be patient man I know its hard to do but you will get yours best of luck

My store gets a fairly constant supply. Though we also have a wait list of 250+ people

Check the price of the EVO one more time. I believe it is the only phone that still has a Mail-in Rebate.

Your best bet is going to be Sprint retail stores or Best Buy. From what I've heard BB is getting only the half white ones though.

Go to wirefly.com and they have evos in stock.. it will be shipped to you in two three weeks, ordered another one yesterday :) its 189.99 w a upgrade or a new line...

You would get your phones replaced a lot quicker if you took them to your local service and repair center. Thats crazy that you have two Evos with problems when since launch I have only seen 1 one with a slight bottom screen lift, which was leaking a tiny bit of light. well except when the double update was pushed out.

Well I was finally able to grab one online on 7/8. I had been watching since they came out, and I only saw them availible once prior to 7/8. So, I guess you just need to check daily :(

Just keep checking in the store. I am on a wait list of 80 people. I went in two days ago and found out that Sprint releases them in small blocks. I left my name with one of the reps I have dealt with before and 15 minutes later I had an EVO!!!!!

My problem is we are a govt agency and deal with our local store which is a preferred retailer not a sprint corporate store. According to them they can't even order them yet. I want to port over one of our lines from Verizon so I guess I just wait. It just aggravates me that they advertise them but it is so difficult to get one. I understand that they aren't going to stop advertising them but you would think they would have better planned for something that they advertised so much prior to release.

Just make regular calls to Sprint and BB. I picked one up on Friday 7/9 at my local BB. Sprint store had some the day before but by the time I got off work, they were out. BB has plenty of white ones but the black ones are hard to come by. I picked up a black one.

rado shack called me n i got my phone yersterday afternoon:) sold my touchpro with the promise it would be in the store monday, in reality, it didnt arrive till thur

Is the Evo still unavailable?
 

As the title says, is the Evo still hard to find in Sprint or BB stores? I just looked online and saw they were all sold out.

I have been following iphone news closely, as I was debating between staying with Sprint and getting the Evo or jumping ship to At&t and getting the iphone. After realizing the data cap on At&t will greatly hinder my iheartradio and pandora streaming.. I have finally decided to get the evo and stay on sprint.

But... are my chances slim of walking to a sprint store tomorrow and purchasing one?

What have recent buyers experience's been?
