Just ordered mine from best buy at the store. None of the stores had them in stock. Hope I wont regret this coming from a tp2.

the only regret i have leaving my tp2 is that i waited as long as i did to make the change.

the only thing i would suggest is that if you require a hardware keyboard and you want a good 3d gaming experience... go with a samsung epic, or wait until wm7 devices start to surface and start your quest all over...

Better gamin ... do u own an epic 4g? Because my sister has one. And i compare it to my evo is the same gaming experience!

Well you know.. there are those thousandths of milliseconds of difference in play that are so noticeable to the eye because of the far superior gpu in the epic.:evil4:

I had a touch pro and a diamond which I thought at the time were amazing. My Evo, I cant put down at all. If you dont like it let me know I will be happy to buy it off of you. The best thing you will notice is that your tp2 battery fits your EVO so you are already ahead of the game.

I really regretted it until I found a keyboard I really liked. There are a few times I have problems, but not often. The Blueteeth implementation has a few issues; otherwise it is a solid device.

you should really try othe avenues...say, radio shack??? i got a evo 2 weeks after realease, but on sat, radio shack (where i got mine) called and asked if i wanted to still get a evo, told them i already have one:), they are around if you look

Best buy gets a few in stock everyweek (and it shows on there inventory) but they are only made availible to people who are on the "preorder" list first, then if they have extras will they make them availible to the regular public. So i said to hell with it and got on the preorder list. I got tired of calling sprint stores, o we have one - wait no we dont - its being help for someone else blaw blaw blaw. Thanks for the positive feedback on this device.

I currently have sero and i'm trying to change it to the eprp plan so i can get the evo. But its sold out through telesales. I tried to change my sero plan to a normal plan, so i could get the evo in store, but the rep said its not possible. Is this true? Do i really just have to wait for the evo to go back in stock through telesales?

Most employees think they can't go into SERO plans, thats been changed. They can, they just think theyll get fired

Why do you want to give up your sero now? If you wait a couple days you will be able to use the evo on sero for $20 extra or just get the hero for $10 extra. If your going to change to a regular plan then let me have the sero account. I have plenty in my family who would love to just pay $40 a month to get the hero and all the extras that come with the extra $10.

ive had tp,palm pre tp2,now evo...sold all my old phones on craigs list for what i paid for them...got the new phones via upgrade thru sprint...the best way to go to stay current with out breaking the bank

FYI I was on a wait list at best buy for about a week than noticed the website showed they had some in stock. I went to a store, ordered the phone, and got it the next day. Shipping was only $4.99 for express overnight. Woot!

edit: also you can call best buy and the mobile guys can see how many phones are really in stock on the website, just in case your worried about not getting there in time. When i called at 9:00 am they had ~360 phones, by lunch time when i made it to the store they have around 75 left. Amazing.

Also my local sprint store said they get roughly 10 a week and its first come first serve but who wants to fck with them besy buy handles all the rebates.

My wife decided she wanted one last monday. I called radio shack and they happened to have some in stock. Most other places were out of stock including best buy. Guess I got lucky.

Yes. They have confirmed it several times not to mention its all over the internet. You should be receiving a notice on your bill sometime closer to october 1. For just $10 you can add anytime mobile, unlimited nav and sprint tv, and any android or webos phone that is 3g. I myself can't wait.

I gave up waiting and called a local Sprint store. They had them in stock, and I walked out an hour later with it in hand.
