I stopped using outlook for my email/calendar/contacts a few months ago. I sync with and use gmail now, and it is SO much easier. I use thunderbird for email and my calendar.
I rarely attach my phone to my PC, everything is synced quickly and easily over the air. I am not sure how this method works with exchange, however. Ron
