It was a little cumbersome, but it limited conflicts and I only did the personal sync about once per week. This worked through Palm, WinMo and Blackberry phones.

Now I have the EVO. It's syncing fine with Exchange at work, but I'm having major problems syncing to my laptop. I downloaded the latest HTC sync...I've reset the EVO twice now. I've had the conflict resolution set to "use latest" and "keep phone overwrite PC." Both are performing the same: I'm not getting any syncing from the phone to the PC, but all of the records that were in the PC are now duplicating into the EVO. Fortunately they are not syncing from the EVO into our corporate Exchange Server.

So I'm about to reset the EVO again and just keep everything for work seperate from home and accept that I'll only be able to keep my calendar and contacts updated in one location (at work.) If I ever lose my job, I'm screwed. So much for the great Android operating system...I just did a guarantee exchange out of my Blackberry 9650 into the EVO - I wonder if Sprint will let me do it again and go back to the Blackberry?
You seriously can't sync your contacts? If theyre on your phone then they synced automagically with your gmail account you created when you got the phone.
