Re: Who actually USES 4g?

Just used 4G to stream the Washington DC fireworks on PBS through Slingplayer while watching them in person (Yeah im that guy). 4G was so fast that there was only like a 3 or 4 second delay, the helicopter taking the video footage of the fireworks for PBS was actually right above us.
Oh and for what its worth I was getting around 4.78 mbps, I think they are close to going live here because a few weeks ago I wasn't able to get an internet connection and today I was much faster than its ever been (Most I got before was about 3.5 mbps, and that was its top speed, it was usually hanging right around 3 mbps)

Re: Who actually USES 4g?

I left 4G on since the day I bought the EVO (which was 3 days ago). I get a speedy 6.1MBps in Upper Chichester, PA & only 1MBps un uploads. Performance has been great so far.

When 3g is running like that i don't even think about the 4g. And also I diddnt get an evo because of 4g. I just wanted to try an android device(and wanted to get the best one i could)
4g has gotten steadier for me since my last post. Held a 4g signal today for approximately one hour while having lunch at a restaurant today. Perhaps my area is officially about to go live soon. I won't make a formal judgement until 4g is official in the washington dc area. Maybe 4g will be more reliable after its officially announced as available.
