I got a notification for the update while taking a nap and I hit no. But now when I goto check for firmware update it wont find the update. Been trying all day, on Wifi and/or 3g. Any ideas?

Weird, don't know what happened, try it now and see. It should work fine now.

I just got down installing the revised update and it went flawlessly. No problems at all. I didnt have not even one issue. I guess I got lucky this time. :)

I did not have any issues either. It was pretty quick. Phone lagged after first reboot. Rebooted again and phone ran just like before.

I updated last night.

After performing a full charge all night. I began using it moderately this morning as I normally do streaming 30 mins of online music on my way to work and doing some casual web browsing.

In less than 1 hour I went from 100% down to 75% battery life.. This is definitely worst then what it was prior to the update.

Really ridiculous actually..

On a positive note, Wireless works much better for me, having no issues what so ever and I can confirm I was able to connect to my DIR-655 wireless router using an N connection (65mbit so says the android wifi connection indicator).

Speed seems to be equal to what it was prior to the update.

Im sure mine worked because I was only on the unrevoked root and not a full root

I downloaded the link from muffinman, but I don't know how to install it. How often will my phone prompt for the update? It prompted me last night, but my phone was near dead so I skipped it thinking I could just manually do it later.

It should be under HTC software update, not firmware update. Try that.
