Looks like this update makes my phone start up a lot of differt Applications. So my task killer shows always bunch of apps running

I got the update for the evo this morning did not install it yet not sure how it will affect rooting

I was going to order my wife an Evo today, but I guess I'd better wait until this is resolved, since tethering the Netflix Roku box is important.

guys to get tethering i just had to reinstall unrev. from their website and Im able to use tethering

man earlier when i checked I could get it now I cant on stock rooted unrevoked. Havnt changed anything since then either no wifi is not on and only things on are phone and 3g

People are reporting that after re-running unrevoked, the tethering app will then at least start and look normal, but if you try to press the green wifi icon within the program to actually turn it on, it fails. Can you try it?
