Unrevoked said via their blog they are analyzing it now. I wouldn't be suprised if they have this figured out in a couple of days.

See if you can find the update when connecting to a wifi hotspot. There are only two options that are given to you to download upates "wifi or 4g" or "wifi only" when you try to download the update so maybe one of those two connections is required to even see it.

I have the updated my phone afew minutes ago and my phone is dead ,doesn't work I will take my phone to a Sprint repair center. I can even start the phone nothing works.
Anybody with the same problem?

I saw a post on here somewhere that if you redownload unrevoked and install it again it works. I am on toasted method so I can't even do the update. Let us know if this works.

A guy on the Android Forum (nRRe) just posted this....

plugged phone in HTC Sync.
was fully rooted using Toasts Part 1 and 2.

flashed back to the stock sprint rom x.x.x..x.1
plugged phone in
offered update to x.x.x.6
finished that
plugged phone in
manual check for htc update
let me update to 1.47xx.xx.x
walked away fro 15 minutes
come back all is fine.


But I cannot tell if he unrooted before trying or just flashed back to stock. By flashing the stock rom...does it unroot?

anyone notice if this update makes navigating a little more snappy? multitouch test shows there is significant lag still, but it feels like swiping home screens and scrolling are slightly more responsive.... or placebo effect?

Ok seems that after update and unrevked my 3g connection is out. I tried to restart and nada - any ideas what happened ?
