Change default Video Player

I recently installed TVsersity on my home PC which is supose to be able to stream video to my android using an app called nswPlayer from the marketplace. However, I can't seem to get the default browser (or even dolphin or any other browser I tried) to recognize that as my default video player or to even ask me which video player I want to use. Can anyone help me make that my default video player?

How are you able to stream tvercity to EVO?

In the app go to menu > (... more) > settings > scroll down to other second checkmark under other is default player ... Check that and see if it helps...

I don't see anything in the settings to let me reset the default player. I tried clicking on the "Reset to default" option but that didn't help.

Unfortunatelly I am not able to get it to stream real time because it won't kick in the video player, but I found this over on XDA developers and it is what I am working with to try to get it to work:
