Mine used to do it until I rooted. Think it was just allergic to tyrannical sprint control.

mine was exactly like that...times that i had to take the battery out...able for me to reboot after a power off..+1 on rooting..after root all is well..battery is amazing as well..

Mine was having this issue where it would take a while for it to turn on. Did the update that came out today. and Then it shut it self off, now it will not turn on at all.
