Re: ROM MANAGER won't work for me!!!!

still sending me to black screen. I went back and fully unlocked this morning following those detailed instructions... everything went according to text and i didn't get any error messages. i've looked at the you tube videos and my rom manager will do everything but allow the computer to boot itself into recovery mode...that is the most important factor. if i have to keep plugging to computer to run recovery-windows.bat then i may as well delete it and flash all my roms the long way.

but i don't want to!!! i hope someone can help...

Re: ROM MANAGER won't work for me!!!!

I do know that I had problems with ROM Manager using the stock rooted ROM. It seemed like after a few days devs were releasing ROM's that had ROM Manager support. I dont know if they changed something or what but I would get the black screen also.

Once I changed to the newer ROM's it went away. Do you mind loading Fresh's newest ROM which comes with it and then load clockwork and see what happens.

Re: ROM MANAGER won't work for me!!!!

I might be asking the obvious...have you upgraded your ROM manager...it has been updating quite frequently. I had an issue similar to yours...it fixed itself after an update.

I know it makes the process of flashing ROMs a much easier process...I still keep it on my phone...but I'm just restoring between 2 nand backups (a 2.1 ROM for camera use and a 2.2 ROM for everyday)

Re: ROM MANAGER won't work for me!!!!

I'm getting the same problems as the OP when I try to make a backup of my current ROM. Using OMJ's ROM and rully rooted and I installed the Flash ClockworkMod Recovery: ClockworkMod 2.0.1.3. Any suggestions?
