Re: So let me get this straight. Insane battery life comes from OCwidget?

I use SetCPU.

I have Advanced Task manager set to auto-kill in 30min intervals (ATM is has to be excluded itself within the auto-kill in order to perform this function)

I have all of my (2) email accounts set to:

Peak - 2 hour
Off Peak - 4 hour

Background data & Auto-sync are "On"

Weather and all other apps that have an interval status are set to 3/4 hour intervals.

Screen brightness is set to "Auto Brightness"

Static wallpaper

GPS - Off
Wifi - Off
4G - Off

I also run Bugless Pete v.3 with ADW Launcher and I got the following on stock battery:

51:31:12 uptime since last charge
03:51:23 awake

I consider this to be exceptional battery life considering the multimedia/social networking integration this phone manages...

I'd say that either you are using your phone a lot or it is not sleeping (well, not sleeping often.)

Ex: my up time is 73:45 and my awake time is 13:43. I use my phone often during the day. So basically this is showing that it has been 73hours and 45 minutes since the last time I power cycled the phone, and in that time I've used it or it has been doing something in the background (like syncing) for 13 hours and 45 minutes of that time. I charge it at night while I sleep. I use my phone fairly heavily during the day, but clearly not while I'm sleeping. I also have my syncing scheduled so that it is often (30 mins) during the day and every 4 hours at night. I unplug the phone at 7:30 am and when I plug it back in at about 11:30pm it has between 50% & 60% battery remaining every day, with about 5 hours of mixed (phone calls, email, text, web, video, music, ...) use. That's about the same (perhaps a few percent worse) as my Touch Pro 2.

BTW, I'm stock all the way (no root, no OCWidget, no task killer) except I disabled google talk and adjusted my sync schedule and I use a widget to adjust the backlight brightness (25% inside and 75% while outside).

When you first boot up your phone is when any apps you have are doing most of their syncing. This will be better to look at after an hour when you know you actually left the screen off for most of it.
