Help me understand Adobe Flash on Android
i thought Android supported Flash yet every browser i have used including the stock browser gives me a yellow exclamation mark...

i searched google and came up with flash 10.1, but its a beta?

is there more information some where on flash and how to get it working on the Evo?

Real Flash 10.1 is supported in android 2.2 not 2.1 like we have. What we have on our Evo's is flash lite, not full flash. Adobe finally announced today that they have finished flash 10.1 for mobiles, and are releasing it to manufacturers as we speak. This is good since the flash 10.1 that people were running on their 2.2 Nexus Ones weren't hardware accelerated.

Flash 10.1 is available only on Froyo 2.2, so you have to wait just a little longer till Froyo is ported to Evo, or flash an Evo ROM running Froyo

I am not rooted, I use the full adobe flash 10.1 for android 2.1 on my phone. Though, it doesn't really work as you would expect, and not all sites detect it correctly.

Thing to remember about flash is, welcome to ads, welcome to slower browsing experience.. enjoy

Just wondering what sites are you going to that you're getting an exclamation on? I haven't run into any sites yet that flash lite or whatever we have give me an exclamation. So far anyways...

If you're not running the froyo updated browser, flash will significantly decrease browser performance.

stubhub... trying to buy Tool tickets for July 13th at the Arco arena... in the stock browser i get exclamation marks and in Dolphin its just two large blank boxes

at least i think it's flash its trying to load... maybe its Java?

Many people including myself have shown that it doesn't work. They're trying but it really only works on froyo so far.

If you can go to espn3.com using that flash and get a video to work then I'll believe it.
