Re: 44 hours and still counting....

Good times. I too experience awesome battery life with minor tweaking. I can easily go 2 1/2 days without a recharge. With the same pattern of use as you mentioned.

I am getting 18-24 hours easy with minor tweaking and under clocking on sleep.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

Right now I am at 28 1/2 hours with 51% remaining. Push exchange and gmail on, wifi on (weak cell reception was killing my battery), ATK in use but no root or underclock. Screen at 35%.

No need for instructions. Just make sure your screen is off and stare at your phone for the next 40 hours. You're welcome.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

I believe the underclocking is more a placebo than anything. If the phone is actually going to sleep when you turn the screen off it will go into a lower power state mode than even underclocking will. During the NBA finals I was sending text messages constantly throughout the games so about 3 hours there, alot of browsing forums using tapatalk, and newsrob, some web surfing and some light phone calls. Overall I can go 24 hours on a charge with that kind of use. I still charge it everynight because that's how I'm used to my smartphones by now.

If you are a pretty heavy user then don't waste your time. If you are a heavy user like I could be at times and can get 6 hours then thats good. If I use my phone casually then it will last me all day with no battery issues.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

I'm pretty sure that everyone with these outrageous battery life times really don't use their phone as much as the average smart phone user. There is no way tweaks on the phone make the difference that is so wide between us that some people get 659 hours and the next person gets 3.
