I had to remove my flickr account from the phone and it stopped the calendar process from taking up all the partial wake usage.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

I really believe it is more about power management more than anything else. If you use GPS is going use more energy. If you want your phone to last longer use it less but don't crazy and expect to last the whole day. This is the best battery life I had in my years using a smart phone.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

Ok, so, after about 48 hours I plugged it back in ALTHOUGH it had 20% left, since i was expecting a call and didnt want it die in the middle of the call.

Before buying the phone, I was actually a little concerned after reading all those reviews, that it wouldnt last long, but hey it is indeed doable with some minor tweaking and light to moderate use.

p.s. i ordered a slim extended battery from seidio and bought chargers for home/car/work, just to be on the safe side

I now use WiFi at home since I learned it uses less power than 3G, but keep forgetting to turn if off when I leave (and vica versa). Is there some program to deal with that?

No i havent received that battery yet. It's 250 mAh more in capacity so I'd expect less than half day improvement with light use.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

Also, unclick use wireless network under locations tab. Gps uses way less power. I dunno if this was said already, but I have Gps, internet, WiFi and 4g widgets on my desktop so I can easily turn them all on or off. I keep all the sync options (every 2 hours). I still get about 15 hrs with heavy use. I'm happy.

Cmon guys, this phone does a lot. Whats the point in turning everything off? just use it! I'm sure we all have access to outlets of some kind.

Re: 44 hours and still counting....

Still extremely happy with the battery life. The battery life has seemed to improve from last week as well. I used the phone heavily the other day and still had about 40% left when I placed it on the charger. An hour of sling player over 3G that day.
