so I miss the boot up sound...

I recently just fully rooted and unlock nand (yay me) and I flashed damagecontrol rom, which I love so far...but he silenced the boot up sound...I actually liked that... and there anyway to flash a boot screen and sound like you could do on windows without having to flash a whole new rom???

How often do you reboot? It's not like WM phones, where they rebooted every night after the backup (which often woke me). This thing is so stable, that except for tweaking the phone now and then, reboots are not really needed.

You can change it without a new ROM..I know there is topics on how to do it over at xda.
