Re: EVO and Connecting to Microsoft Exchange

I keep getting a "Failed to create the account. Please try again later" when I try to add exchange to my phone. All my settings are correct, I checked the settings 3 fold!

Re: EVO and Connecting to Microsoft Exchange

Ok, so out of nowhere it works now, I just kept trying it over and over again.

So now, how to I get rid of the Exchange's lock/password policy? I don't like password:locking my phone all the time.

I had a similar issue, funny thing out was a extra space after my username. Also try using your email address as the username, and leaving the domain field blank.

worked but....

"server requires security features your phone does not suport"

i just checked and these are the requirements:
The security policies that all new PDA/Mobile devices must comply with include:

(a) A password or PIN of 4 characters minimum
(b) Auto lock or “time-out” feature
(c) Remote “wipe” enabled

Re: EVO and Connecting to Microsoft Exchange

I tried that, but my jobs IT security guys gave me the run around...

But what really sucks is that I actually work in the IT dept. I'm a IT tech there but they still gave me the run around.
