Re: How to Remove a Favorite Contact?
I had the same issue. I removed the widget and added it back again after I removed the contact from the group "Favorites"

Re: How to Remove a Favorite Contact?
I'll give that a shot. Don't shoot me for this next question: what's the widget called? I didn't see it on my list of Widgets!

Re: How to Remove a Favorite Contact?
I said I did that, Success100. I went into the contact and unchecked as many Favorites boxes as I could find, and the contact still remains in the widget.
I will try removing/replacing the people widget once I get near my phone. |

Re: How to Remove a Favorite Contact?
What success said is what you do. Open up each contact and remove then from the favorite group. You do this by editing each contact clicking on groups and un checking favorite

Re: How to Remove a Favorite Contact?
Negative - that does not do the job! The contact remains on the favorites list even after removing membership from the "favorites" group! That being said the contact still lists "favorites" as a group it belongs to, which confuses me since nothing is selected to be in that group.
The contact consists of this: 1 Phone Number 1 Gmail 1 AOL mail Groups: Favorites, Co-workers, Friends. HOWEVER: NO FAVORITE BOX IS CHECKED FOR THE ABOVE, ANYWHERE. I also went into my Gmail contacts account and physically removed the "Starred in Android" group membership. The contact is Linked to a Facebook account. If I remove the Phone & Gmail links the Favorite remains the Facebook profile photo and requests a new default action when tapped, so I'm confident it has something to do with the facebook link. However, after I separate the links, the favorite remains. How do I fix this? Arg! This is driving me batty. |
