HTC Sync Update for EVO 4G (Sprint) (2.0.40) | 06.16.2010

Saw this update on the HTC website. Not sure if this suppose to fix the problem of not being able to reliably use HTC sync.

Rebooting is most likely caused by a app you installed. Many other posts in the forums people complain about rebooting...and they do a Hard Reset the problem goes away, or they remove apps....try it, I bet you'll find that one of the programs was causing it to reboot.

Shouldn't this get pushed to our phones?

i had the rebooting problem a few days after getting the evo. i barely had anything installed. i reinstalled the same apps after a hard reset. haven't had the issue again. I think it's a bug with one of the apps preinstalled on the EVO. i hope it doesn't happen again.

This is an update for the HTC Sync desktop client.
It's like Activsync for windows mobile devices or like blackberry manager for blackberry's. It allows you to sync your info with your desktop/laptop. Mainly for emails, contacts, etc.

One of the updates listed is "mobile network sharing." Has anyone tried syncing the phone and testing out any internet sharing (rooted or unrooted)

Internet sharing did not work for me prior to this update. I will try it once I run this update tonight...
