Re: HTC Sync Update for EVO 4G (Sprint) (2.0.40) | 06.16.2010
So, wait, just to get this clear, this "new" version of HTC Sync dated 06.16.2010, is NOT an update to the HTC Sync application?
i just want to know that it works finally to recognize the phone and i don't continuously get the "unable to load configuration" message. |

It is a synch app that run on your PC. It replaces .39. The problem I am having is that it did not install.

Well, I guess I'll have to try it out when I get home to replace the installation I have where I can't connect at all between the Evo and my PC.

The "new" version doesn't work at all, if you look at the directories in to which the software installs, you'll notice that there are less than 3 files that have been updated.
Don't know what was "fixed" as HTC provided NO release notes or indication as to why they released a new version. Nice job, HTC. |

I got it to work first try...has a few more/different features...seems stable, but for me, so did the other one...oh well...like I said, it works!
