This is exactly what I did after calling product support. They put a note on my account and said to just to into a Sprint store within 30 days.
I didn't press *2 though. I went straight to tech support, number is 1-877-527-8405. No waiting, it connects you to someone immediately.

Why don't you put insurance on it, then wait a month until there is stock. Only $7. They only charge you the $100 for lost or stolen.

You can only put insurance on a brand new phone that hasn't been activated. Besides, if you do it before 30 days then you will have a brand new device instead of a refurb. Assuming that matters to you.

i was wondering about this?.....and really couldnt make up my mind should i get it now...or wait till about 6mths after a couple of drops or scratches get a new one then?
