htc evo picture messaging

Why can I get it to send picture messages? If it does send it takes it 30 mins or longer to send. My old s30 and my wifes blackberry send right away.

I don't have this issue, and I send them a lot throughout the day. Are rooted, if you are what ROM? Are you using stock messaging app or something else like Handcent?

He wasn't complaining, he was asking a question as to why his messages haven't been going through. As in is this a common thing that can happen and is it a known easy fix. Calm down.

Re: htc evo picture messaging

Handcent doesn't like sending large videos. I haven't had much luck sending anything over 10 seconds long. Most of the errors I get when sending a video are about the people i'm sending it to not being able to recieve it due to the file size being rejected.

Make sure you've gone into the settings and set the file size to 1.2mb.

Re: htc evo picture messaging

One thing I noticed is that handcent won't send my picture mail if wifi is turned on. Turning wifi off, the message sends almost immediately. The htc messages app will send with wifi on. I had the same issue using handcent on my Hero.
