My Evo and EPRP nightmare

Ok so I was on the EPRP for $59.00 before i got my Evo and was told it was compatible. I get the phone from BB, check my account a few days later and my plan is changed to the $69.00 standard plan. I call up Sprint and the rep and the supervisor both tell me the EPRP is NOT compatible, which I knew was wrong but they said I can apply a 20% corp discount if I want so I took that.

So today i get a email stating that the discount cant be applied because one of the lines on the account (my wife) is SERO. So I called up retentions very angrily and the rep said it doesn't matter if my line is eligible. If ANY line on the account is SERO or EPRP the discount wont take affect. Which is the complete opposite of what the rep last week told me. So he proceeds to tell me the last rep was also wrong about the EPRP not working with the Evo and my plan should have never been changed so he changed it back and prorated it to June 4th. I swear I love Sprints phones and service but after all these years the reps still dont have a damn clue

Well at least it was changed back in the end. Thats more than you probably would have gotten in the past. You have to admit, Sprint's CS has gotten at least a little better over the years.

Re: My Evo and EPRP nightmare

I had a 27% corp on SERO, so unless they changed something, maybe it's just rep who doesn't know any better.

They'll take it off eventually trust me. They caught my corp discount on Sero about a year after I had used it.

BTW to the OP I had no problem activating on EPRP at Best Buy. In fact the only store who's had problem with my EPRP plans has been the corporate sprint store, but I had no problem getting customer service to switch it back. Glad it worked out in the end, sorry it took more than one phone call.

Re: My Evo and EPRP nightmare

How could the Sprint rep state that the EVO is not compatible with EPRP when the EVO IS ON SALE ON THE EPRP SITE?

Shame on Best Buy too for not informing you that your plan was going to be changed. Is anything reflected on your paperwork from BB?
