I did it very slow to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I was also double checking stuff too.

Re: FULL Root now available!!!
I have a couple of questions...
1. I used the Toasts root method origionally and created a NAND backup, then loaded OMJ'S ROM. Do I need to do another NAND backup with OMJ's ROM now? 2. If I do a NAND backup with OMJ's ROM will I still be able to revert back to stock ROM? |

Re: FULL Root now available!!!
Just wanted to add that Titanium Backup will uninstall system apps after you have this full root.
EDIT: be very careful here. You don't want to uninstall any required system apps. Also, it's not letting me restore system apps. (I've only tried amazon mp3) Last edited by timtlm; 06-15-2010 at 02:05 PM. |

Re: FULL Root now available!!!
You need to wipe both data and the dalvik cache before restoring the backup, then restore and your phone will have all the data it had before you started to root. Creating a backup afterward is up to you but not required.
