Re: 2batteries & battery wallcharger - $9.98!

I've been using them for awhile in my TP2 and they work fine. The capacity is not quite as good as the HTC batteries, but is close.

$109.98 after insurance claim (most likely getting a refurb/someone else's return if any in stock).

On another note, I have used similar batteries from eBay on my Vogue, they worked fine. Those USB type chargers usually work well too. Hopefully either or both have circuitry to stop charging when full or hot.

The only differeance is a couple of stickers and look carefully at the serial and production numbers they most likely are all the same etc etc..... Anyhow As a few have stated everything is pretty much made in china so buying a no name battery doesnt seem to be that scary of a deal and for the price not to much you can lose out on. If you worried about fire make sure your plugged into a propperly grounded and fused outlet you should be ok.... I am going to order a couple myself. thanks for the find

Anyone have any experiance with this product?

This happened to Callaway Golf Clubs a few years ago. It really hurt them cuz the knockoffs were just as good.

Re: 2batteries & battery wallcharger - $9.98!

Have a phone really blown up because of these batteries? lol. If so then I must be one of the lucky ones. I've been using one of these sets since I got my TP2 in November of last year. It's the best $10 investment I've ever made. Just cause it's from china doesn't really mean anything now a days. I'm willing to bet some if not all Seidio batteries or Mugen batteries are made in China or Taiwan but some are willing to pay higher dollars for.

Re: 2batteries & battery wallcharger - $9.98!

Like some say I think you can end up with OEM quality at a fraction of the cost but it's a risk.

I ordered a wall charger for 7 dollars thru amazon while picking up some extra cables and my phone acted up when plugged in. It would freeze or be slow to respond. Discovered a short in the cord near the micro plug. Tossed it in the waste can. Cellit brand.

Basically what I meant by what I said was the fact they are so cheap...it's basically "You get what you pay for" Yeah they may work in your phone, but the question is how long, are they reliable? They all may be from China, but that doesn't mean they all come from the same factory, or are even built the same...quality wise.

I've seen alot of people get burned on the deals, just to find out the battery is defective, doesn't hold a charge or blows up in their phone.

It's a risk I'm not willing to take.

Just curious? How much was the shipping for that battery or batterys?
I wouldn't pay a dime to replace the phone. If it's a different battery and it burns the phone up I would put the stock sprint battery back in it, take it to the store and tell them it wouldn't work. The ONLY time you have to pay insurance for a replacement is if it has water damage or you lose it.

This Evo is the first phone I've paid for since 2005 (checkout my signature pic and I've got all of those phones because the previous phone was discontinued and I worked my magic with sprint )

shipping is free on the ebay link I posted

Re: 2batteries & battery wallcharger - $9.98!

Its one thing to warn the guy, but to go thru the whole replacement scenario down to the cost is a bit much. It sounds like a good deal so why not try it. Besides, is he REALLY gonna come back and tell us his house burnt down due to defective batteries?
