Anyone else notice the grounding issue started when you got the light leak or screen lifting?
I know for 100% I did not have the grounding issue cause I tested when I first read about it and now I do!

Dan-git. The Sprint location I went to isn't a service center. I will have to wait until after work today or tomorrow to get it taken care of. If there is a hole, then anything can get underneath it. Dust, moisture, hair, whatever. It's like when you have a dead bug or dirt in your dashboard and you have no idea how it got there.
On a side note, the demo phone at the store had it's screen coming up worse than mine.

I just noticed that in the lower LH corner of mine there is a tiny little sliver of light (about 1/8th, maybe, of an inch long) that I don't think was there Sunday when I got it. Haven't dropped it or anything, so I guess if it gets worse I'll just have it replaced. YAY insurance! =D>

It's hard to notice because you only see it when it is dark and the lower 4 buttons are illuminated. Either way its busted. I can't emphasize enough though how much I love this phone.

Don't need insurance if it's still within one year as HTC has a 1 year manufacturers warranty and can be replaced.

For the record, I too have version 003 with a light leak. Phone is 2 weeks old and I just started to see a 1 cm sliver of light below the home button.
