Not sure if this will help, but it worked for me. After first installing HTC Sync, I told it to sync both my contacts and my calendar. When it started syncing, it errored out on the contacts. After uninstalling, installing, etc., I got the same error. So, I tried only syncing the calendar. That worked. Then I unchecked that and only synced the contacts. Again it worked. Finally, I checked both and both synced.
What I have found is that Outlook has to be closed before you plug in and select sync or it will try to open a second instance of Outlook and this causes errors. I hope this helps. Kim |

I've installed the new one, the .33 version multiple times and not once has my phone pick up sync on the comp. Which sucks BC I'm tryin' to root to flash a ROM...

same prob ive tried both the version that comes with the phone and the newest one just wont pick up device at all
