Is there an easy way to hit SEND when texting in landscape?

I want to send the message as soon as I am done... yet I always have to either rotate back to vertical view, or minimize the keyboard. Is there a quicker way to just send?

i agree...my most used method is to minimize the keyboard.

I find that to be a pain in the ass... I wish the keyboard had a send button built in... oh well... maybe im alone on this... I just hate the extra step... im used to finished my sentence and smacking send...

I believe there's an option to make the return key act as a send key.

I'd love to know this also. minimizing the keyboard and hitting send is very simple, but, while in text mode the "Enter" but should automatically become the send key.

I use Handcent sms, there is the option for short key to send which is the return key.

In Handcent go to settings > send message settings > shortcut key to send.
