tethering on evo 4 g

i've noticed that when i tether with the evo 4g on pdanet the speeds are slower then when i tether with the wifirouter program for windows mobile 6.5 on my touch pro 2.

Has anybody else notice this difference? i mean i tether at work and i noticed the difference immediately, the youtube videos were buffering slower and some sites wont even buffer fast enough so i have to wait a bit. the download speeds have dropped as well. could this be a problem with just pdanet or is it a hardware problem?

i think im going to test them both out one of these nights since my brother has my tp2.

okay to kinda make it wm terms, still a lil noobish but gettin better everyday lol, it's like flashin the hardspl, so basically you're unlockin the phone, there are a few ways, 1 is the unrevoked way (half root) which you can use the free wifi tether in the marketplace or its toast root (full root) which gives you the ability to flash custom roms and wifi tether tho that root involves a system wipe the first tyme. so it's up to u, but I'm sure you would like the wifi tether better...hope i helped and thanks are welcome lol
