Re: Is it possible to have WM on the Evo?
I am not sure why someone would even want WM on the Evo, I just made the switch with the Evo from WM to Android and I am loving me some Android at this point I don't think I will switch back, Android is two steps forward while WM is one step back for me anyways

I would like WM for no text message size limits.

Re: Is it possible to have WM on the Evo?
Text messages are limited even on WM..it just automatically merges them into 1..depending on your text messaging client it can do the same.

Re: Will Windows Mobile be avaliable for the EVO
All this talk, mentions of Windows 3.1... go ahead and laugh but I had to scratch my head for a minute when I was asked to look at a family members computer to see what was wrong with it and it was running windows 3.1 and this was only a few months ago lol..

Re: Is it possible to have WM on the Evo?
I will also say that not everyone hates WinMo. I have the exact same question.
I have played with the EVO and love the device. It runs much faster and more fluid than my TP or a TP2. But it should with the processor that it has. Duh...of course you would not go back to a older device with outdated hardware. Not all of those here are using their devices for entertainment purposes ONLY. As a business user I chose a smartphone because of WinMo ability to access/create/edit Word, Excell and Power Point. There is nothing like walking into a meeting and having the ability to present a Power Point from my phone. I know that there is a word processing function and google doc's is available, but I am not switching to that. Some of you are right. I could get a HD2, and have seriously considered this, but Ifor now I'm with Sprint. So rather than trash a poster for a legitimate question, stick to the topic and answer it. If you feel the need to belittle and pile on about how stupid you may think a question is. Try this....ignore it and move to a different thread. Now I remember why I was away from this site for so long. I had hoped it had changed. |
