Re: Will Windows Mobile be avaliable for the EVO

If it was possible to flash WM 6.5.x to the SD of the EVO I would do it for sure. I would not replace Android, but the ability to dual boot is pretty cool and like many (and unlike others), I really like WM 6.5.x...

Re: Will Windows Mobile be avaliable for the EVO

Wow, this guy comes on and posts a legit concern... and you smother him with sarcastic fanboy responses? Give the guy a break, not everyone loves the Android OS.

Let me clarify something for you. Android isn't THAT great. How would I know? I have an EVO. I've spent the better portion of two days tweaking/playing with it. I've encountered NUMEROUS issues that make me yearn for WM. Ya know, minor things like power management so the battery doesn't die in 5 hrs. Or the ability to modify folders/files on my SD card. Silly little stuff that doesn't matter to anyone in the real world (there's some sarcasm for ya).

I came from a TP2 and while Android is much much more polished in terms of eye candy, it's still got a ways to go. I was really excited about this phone. Atleast I can have wobbly boobs as my desktop background....

If a fully functional WM6.5.X port came out for this phone, it would be epic. I could charge the phone once a day instead of 2-3 times and use RDP without having to pay extra for someone's app. But alas, it won't happen.

Re: Will Windows Mobile be avaliable for the EVO

WIn Mobile is good but I think android can do more things. I was a big time winmo user but when I heard the evo is running android, I'm all for it. Plus you can download winmo apps and run on android.
