Has anyone tested the Sedio 1750 mAh Battery?

I am lookin to get a little more battery life out of my device, and would love to buy a bigger battery... are there any ( marginally ) larger batteries that we can put in this thing... I am getting OK battery life, but would like to know that 2 hours of apps wont but the baby to sleep if you know what I mean...

Re: Has anyone tested the Sedio 1750 mAh Battery?

I've been looking at that battery really hard. I know it's not MUCH bigger, and my battery life is comparable to my Hero so I'm not all that worried about it, but if the Seidio 1750 will add another 2-3 hours of life to my phone, I'm game. I already use their cases and they're top notch. If the batteries are of the same quality I think it would be worth the $50.

Re: Has anyone tested the Sedio 1750 mAh Battery?

Seidio does indeed make the best.

However this battery is only worth it if you don't want the extended battery that's coming in the next weeks. The cost of this battery is closer to the bigger battery.

More to your point, this is the best aftermarket battery if your only looking for OEM size replacements.

Re: Has anyone tested the Sedio 1750 mAh Battery?

Seidio does NOT make the best aftermarket batteries. Sorry, that's just an incorrect statement. Their products are not much better than any other aftermarket batteries. I'd suggest a gander at Batteryboss.org for a better insight into their batteries.

Is this rumor or fact? Will you need a new backplate? Thanks

It's listed on their website as coming soon (Here). Since they've made an extended battery for just about everything else, I would be surprised if they skipped the Evo.

Given the rating on the battery, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet to assume it will need a new backplate.

I'm getting better battery life than I expected (easily lasting me a day), but I'll be pretty tempted to try the 3500mah if they manage to pull it off without it being too massive.

Re: Has anyone tested the Sedio 1750 mAh Battery?

I just got one yesterday, but the instructions on it say I will not get the maximum power out of it until about 4-6 charge cycles. So I will have to wait like 6 days before I can truly can give a good opinion about it.

Re: Has anyone tested the Sedio 1750 mAh Battery?

I'm no tech guru, but why cant a 3500mah battery be developed thats 1500mah size? With all the technology out there it has to be able to be done right? Or can it be done, but the cost be too great?

The Evo is just fitting comfortable in my pocket, i don't think a fatback would cut it for me.
