Re: SMS notifiction (vibrate)

get smspopup. it integrates with the stock sms software and you can adjust the vibrate patterns as well as light up the screen and pop up any incoming txts.

Re: SMS notifiction (vibrate)

I dont think this is your issue, but unlike Windows mobile, if your phone ringer is set to Vibrate and your SMS notification is set to OFF, then your phone wont vibrate when it recieves a SMS.

I wish it was the WM way personally.

Re: SMS notifiction (vibrate)

found a fix on android forums.

"I found a fix for this. Download 'Sound Manager' from the Android Market and go to MENU, VIBRATE SETTINGS. Under NOTIFICATION SETTINGS, 'Don't Vibrate' was checked EVEN THOUGH my other settings were configured to vibrate for texts and emails.

I changed the setting to 'Vibrate Whenever Possible' - and this has now restored my vibrating email and text message notifications."

after that i uninstalled the application and it still vibrates
