Usually the batteries come around half charged..so its more then enough..
my general strategy is as above, plug phone in and play...have been doing that for every phone like tis a ritual or something... Lion only starts to degrade after 30% battery life at faster rate... so get to downloading that 5tb file you always wanted to...
