Re: Increase call quality!

The easiest way in my opinion is to use CDMA workshop (I won't tell you where to get it but its out there), open CDMA workshop with your phone connected to you CPU and dial ##3424# in the dialer. Find out what com port your phone is on in the device manager and select that from the drop down box in CDMA workshop and click connect. Then go to the security tab and under SPC click read and there you go your MSL is in the box, I can confirm this works on the old 2.7 version of CDMA workshop.

Re: Increase call quality!

As suggested by other poster, you can also get your msl by using the phone swap feature on sprint.com. Even if you don't have a phone on hand or esn #, there are handy sites on the web where you may find one just laying around .

You need your MSL, not your MSID.

Re: Increase call quality!

Do MSL codes carry over from your previous phone along with your phone #? I have the MSL from the device I had just prior.

No. Different MSL for each one. I guess you may have a 1 in 999,999 chance that you could get the same one though.

Hmm, I am using a really old version. v2.1.1 and when I press read, it says "Failed...Phone does not answer" Do you have the phone connected using HTC Sync as the connection type?
