Thanks, gonna try it tomorrow. There is so much support that even if i have issues I am sure someone will be able to help. Going to use unrevoked

you would have to use unrevoked forever to get full root and NAND access

oh yeah and be careful. I read about a lot of people having issues with unrevoked on other forums. The safest way is in the sticky

Wow, I downloaded Wifi Tether and it is working so I guess I am rooted. That was amazingly easy. I guess I got very lucky. Now what rom do I put on?

Roms are like women
theres alot of'em so try em all
Start basic go for OMJ Rom

make sure to do a Nandroid backup first

If you want to make sure that you are fully rooted, go into the bootloader and look at the top line on the screen. It should say S-Off. if it is and you can use wifi tether, titanium backup, and can flash roms you are good to go.

Anybody here use ROM MANAGER to do all their flashing? It looks nice and simple to use...
