the first thing to do is to identify which phone you have.
Do a power down and go into HBoot and read the version. You get there by powering down and then hold down the vol down key and pressing the power button once. That will tell you(and us) which route to go. Report back at that point. |

How do I flash one ROM over another?
I'm sure it's very simple. Here's my scenario:
I'm currently on Cyanogen 6.1. I just downloaded Warm TwoPointTwo. Um...now what? lol Do I lose all my apps I've downloaded? Is there an easy way to back them up without having to manually copy/move each one to the SD Card? Thanks in advance guys! |

Re: How do I flash one ROM over another?
Uh ok, first you can back everything up or choose what you want backed up using titanium backup and as far as flashing the rom its the same process as flashing any rom, just boot into recovery and go from there. You did flash your current rom yourself didn't you?

Yeah I did flash it the first time. I just went into recovery (took me to clockwork), wiped cache and data factory blah blah, then flashed zip from SD (warm 2.2) and it loaded up cyanogen again, what the heck! |
