I know.

I actually work in Signals (ish) field. This is why the Navy uses ULF and VLF for comms

Re: battery = horrible less than 4 hours standby

Boo, 4g is the cause of the short battery life. You'll see that if you leave it in 3g mode you'll get 14 hours easy in standby maybe more. Your best bet is to only use 4g when you think you're going to stream content or download stuff for a while. Otherwise there's no need to switch it on.

Unfortunately that's how it's stated in every review. 4g=kills.

Michigan antenna, right? or Wisconsin? Somewhere around there, there is a huge one I think, signal travels right through the earth.

Yes, 14 hours should be easy. And 4G is the least reason to have this phone, IMO. I may never use it, even when it comes, other than a trial.

I bought a "world phone" (TP2) knowing I wouldn't be traveling out of the US. I also doubt I am the only one.

It's not that far of a stretch to get a 4g phone in a non-4g area.

Re: battery = horrible less than 4 hours standby

And then he said he only had 1 bar of 4g which means the phone is constantly polling trying to find 4g in weak coverage... thats gonna kill the battery all day everyday. Im in a 4g area and yesterday I got 9 hours out of mine with 4g on but I have 4 bars and live only about a quarter of a mile from a tower.
