I get that my usage will be radically different at first. I couldn't get through a whole day with my TP2 when I first got it either. But once I get back into my routine, will I be OK?
50% on your tp2 at the end of the day? well, i probably ended my day with the tp2 at 20% and I'm able to get the EVO to the end of the night when I'm ready to sleep. So I suppose you will easily make it to the end of the night with your usage.

Android is different though. You can have tons of programs that auto-update or notify you and there are a lot of good ones out there with those options. WinMo doesn't really have that problem because of the lack of quality apps. I think this is one of the biggest battery killers. People have too much to use and they don't manage it wisely so they suffer. Once they figure it out, their battery life increases.

I hope you don't keep your brightness turned all the way up though. that's the other battery killer.

I just don't get the "bad battery life" that alot of you are experiencing. I think u have to look at the specs of this brilliant device. It's not going to run forever, but should get you throughout the day. I have fully drained and recharged three times, and i get great battery life. Here are some things that are running on mine:

Gps always on
Mobile network always on
Hotmail syncs every 5 minutes during the day
Facebook updates every hour
Screen brightness set at medium

Again, i watch videos, play games, and surf the web at work quite often. All in all, i think htc and sprint did a great job with this device.

The EVO has a very good "suspend" program built in. It's called Airplane Mode. Theres even a program I saw in the market that will automatically set airplane mode at a certain time at night and turn it off at a certain time in the morning.

Re: Official::::: Battery Life Review

I hope the replacement for the Evo comes with a bigger battery.
