Re: Why I don't want it for now

Went to the Spring store today to try it out! I was extremely surprised as to how fast the keyboard and typing was. By far THE best keyboard, over the iphone in terms of functionality.

What I did not like was the feel of it. Although it was extremely light for its large screen, it had a very "cheap" plastic feel to it. (My personal opinion). Also the phone would not go into landscape mode for anything.. no keyboard.. no internet? Guys at the Sprint store were dumbfounded as to why it wouldnt... maybe they removed the accelerometers for the demo versions? Or is there an option in android to stop screen rotation?

Re: Why I don't want it for now

Personally, I'm not buying it just yet either. And yes, I do have the money. Yes, I know the phone rocks. But... there's no need for me to rush to the store and battle everybody else trying to get one, the price has to go down eventually, and I would like to see what happens with the $10/monthly extra charge. I don't know when the next great phone will come out, but I'm sure I can survive another year to see what improvements (over an already great phone) will be offered.
Until then, I'll stick to my Warm Donut on NAND (I jumped ship from WinMo not too long ago also, and never looking back).

Thanks, wish I could have shown the Sprint rep up to tell him how to change it! A lot of people were frustrated that they couldnt see the keyboard in landscape mode!

Re: Why I don't want it for now

I'm sort of an audio/videophile and I actually think the 720p video recording on this is exceptional. it's a phone, lol.

Don't get it if you don't want it, but I'll be damned if the rest of us aren't LOVING the shit out of this thing.
