its 299 with a 100 instant rebate on qualifying line (premium data ad on that you have to have and a everything data that you have to have) so its 199 or 499 at the store.499 is ouright, all others are 199, RS doesnt do 1 year rebates so that is correct

Well lets not spread speculation & theories; tomorrow we will all know what our respective Best Buy, Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, other will charge for the EVO, in any case.

I personally have budgeted for worst case scenario and cannot help what I cannot control. I will negotiate any situation that may arise (reasonably) in every effort to acquire a EVO.

Thats all any of us can hope for.

Even with a pre-order status...
